                  Same with steerer tube in there. I never cut steerer tubes. A cut tube has less value on eBay.

                    So a ridiculous amount of headset spacers. Good for comfort, bad for aerodynamics. Later, I will buy one or two larger spacers.

                            The powder coating prevented the thru axle from sliding in so I filed off just enough of the powder coating.

                              I love thru axles because I tell myself that my front wheel is less likely to fall off (which has happened to me).

                                I use a torque wrench here because I have overtightened that bolt and ruined a few front hub bearings.
