Yeah I want a real nice tight fit to the bag so it doesn't move at all when secured. I guess I will have to practice leaning to get the feel of it's new center of gravity. It should be an experience lol

Well, looks like i will need to order a longer shifter and brake cable to get the new handlebars on... I installed the adjustable riser and that's not too bad, can swap handlebars over the winter.

Are your Bafang cables going to be long enough? Better check those if you are stuck waiting for things to come in and get em all coming at one time.

I started out this summer wanting to be more upright but the more riding I did the more I keep feeling like I wanted to go down a bit. Only thing that really can bug me about being more down is my neck doesn't like bending so I can see especially with a helmet visor so it is a balancing act.

          Hello,

The trunk bag because of zipper placement didn't work out, I also didn't like only 2 velcro straps on it to the rack. So was thinking this or if you have another suggestion https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0821MJ9R3...NsaWNrPXRydWU= This is the battery I have the 23.8 amp model. https://em3ev.com/shop/50v-14s7p-rec...-battery-pack/ Cables look like they are just long enough, tomorrow I should be able to work on it again.

          thanks

          saw this one too https://www.amazon.com/Moosetreks-Bi...8-8&th=1&psc=1

Ended up ordering https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Should be here thursday. Don't like giving up my only water bottle holder, so I guess I will have to get one that will attach to my handlebars.

Yeah Cal, I got the bag idea from your build. How is yours working out?

I decided that I didn't like it. I have been spoiled by my cruisers and even more by my Fat tired cruisers. The bike was too small "as in wheelbase" for me. The original plan was to fold it and carry it in my Civic. But that wasn't very easy and the next thing you know I had a pickup with a cap. So the whole folding thing was kind of a useless option.

Don't get me wrong it is a great bike and it came out very nice. I just have other bikes that suit me a lot better.

Yeah I can see that. I am seriously doubting I can hang the battery bag, it just is too long a battery, if the bike didn't fold it would fit in the triangle area...looks like it is going to have to go on the rack. I will give it a try but looks like the front tire would be about an inch away from the bottom edge of the battery, and not that I am doing jumps or anything lol but going off a curb I don't want the tire smacking the battery...but the bag comes tomorrow along with my 2 new cables so I can swap out my handlebars for something a little larger and swept back a little. I really wish the lcd screen was removeable.

Well the zipper on the medium blackburn bag was too short to slide in the battery. Always something lol But my cables arrived to get to start tomorrow on that.

I ordered this last night, it is actually slightly larger then the battery I have and the zipper layout is better. https://www.ebay.com/itm/284023662475 I was actually looking at a small tactical sling backpack that is 14" tall 1000Deniar Nylon waterproof for another $30 some dollars with the molli attachment points. Might get that to attach to my bike and also be able to hold a few tools, pump and patch kit, extra water bottle, protein bars etc...

Well got it all together, I need to find a pair of connectors better then what I had handy for disconnecting my rear talilight if I choose to use the rack to hold the bike upright instead of the kickstand. Have to tighten a few things, the new head unit is a little loose... if I can't figure it out, back to the bike shop and then they can adjust better the new shifter I installed. Only went up the block and back before i felt the loose front end but it took off like a rocket lol and nicely quiet.

I like it. Doesn't look especially electric which I think is a good thing.

                                Head unit?
