Mounting a mid drive motor on a carbon fiber mountain bike

Has anyone mounted a mid drive motor on a carbon fiber mountain bike? Is the Bottom Bracket on a Carbon Fiber Mountain Bike strong enough?

It's been done and LunaCycle sells a complete bike. The issue most run into is the wall thickness at the bottom bracket. If I remember correctly, the Bafang mid drives only allow for up to 12mm of BB thickness.
