Well thinking some more it looks like the 11-34 cassette that comes on the 29.1. May be better. Other than the 34 tooth large cog that probably won't get used here in Florida the other cogs are better for speed. Nothing drastic and livable.

I don't think the mega range cassettes that comes on the 29.1 is going to be ideal for a fast e bike in flat Florida. So another expense for a 11-32. The 11-34 that comes on it looks bad gearing wise. Hoping I can get a good chain line with a lekkie 46 tooth chain ring without hitting they chainstay. I would even consider the eclipse in 48 tooth with a 12-32 cassette? Ya I know I will need a longer chain.

Elite trail has just been sold in stock form.
Gravity 29.1 ordered. I won't have to worry about selling the schwalbe energizer plus 50x622 now. ( 2 inch wide )

Should have written have to sell as I still have the Moto elite trail. Do you experts think there would be a huge difference in traction between a schwalbe energizer plus 47c wide and the 50c that is just to tight for clearance? I think the 47 would be OK to use no problem as it will probably only measure 45 or possibly 46 wide mounted.

I have the Recon Silver 26 on my FS bike with BBSHD, seems to be a decent fork, feels fairly beefy and doesn't seem to flex in corners at speed. I'm going to order either a Dorado brake for the front or a Magura Hydraulic ebrake, I've just been backpeddling to cut the power to the drive and shifting gently, I like using the front ebrake as a clutch so I'll be getting one.

Plan was to build a fast comfy performance 99.99 percent street driven bike. This is the bike I bought in red.

Adventure Hybrid 29er Bikes Elite Adventure Sport Trail smooth riding roadbike bicycle road bicycle on sale at a discount road bike flat bar road bike. Compare to Giant Roam, Specialized Crosstrail or Raleigh Misceo bicycles

I knew the fork was heavy and low grade but thought I would give it a chance for pavement use. A no go lol. The lack of slow speed compression damping was a bit annoying. The lack of any rebound damping to speak of was extremely annoying and the 28mm stanchions flexed bad under as hard as I dared cornering with the knobby tires on it. So as I expected I would end up doing I bought a rockshox silver recon tk29 solo air fork. The stock fork was 493mm crown to axle and 46mm offset with 75mm travel. The rockshox is 506 crown to axle at 100mm travel and 486 if I put the 80mm travel spacer in it. The fork would be OK to use either way.
The rockshox also specs at 200mm max disc size so this was great as I plan on Tektro Dorado's with 203 front and 180 mm rear discs. All is good so I decided to get my street tires. I have 2 different schwalbe in mind and both 50kph e bike rated. The marathon deluxe folding bead which is expensive and lighter than the energizer plus wire bead. Both have a great grip rating so for starters I ordered the energizers got them mounted up and mounted them on the bike which was a PITA lol. The wide tires and short narrow chain stays made it a bear to get past the derailleur. Now for the clearance. It is not acceptable. It is to tight. The rims have to be perfectly true and any kind of tourqe from the bbshd will make them rub.
I have digital calipers and could have made sure but I took bikes direct word for 2 inch tire clearance. Oh well.
Here is the bike that is replacing it. A gravity 29.1 and getting the rockshox fork I have and the Tektro Dorado's.

Working...
