You can ask the people in novsight that they have good service attitude. I will ask questions that I do not understand, and they will be happy to answer them.

I think you should change it for a long time. Now I have used it for 3 years. If you are interested, you can read it on my homepage.

IMO the best thing is to connect a solid state relay to it because the available wattage is minuscule.

Max_Volt - Are you saying the controller light wire is very low milliamperes, or the USB port on the display? I know the USB port on the display won’t run an LED USB light. I would think the dedicated controller lighting wire on some controllers would be setup properly for lighting.

I will try connecting my new controller with lighting wire to my battery and take voltage and ampere readings...

How did this converter work out?

Anyone know of a good 5-6V LED headlight and tail light with flashing option that can plug directly into the 5-6V(?) wire on “some” BBS02B controllers?

Thanks Tommie, I've just ordered it and will see how it goes. I will have to figure out a way to keep it waterproof if it works.

The original headlight output is rated at 6v 500ma so there is a huge chance to do damage if the light connected is too demanding. There are many options. One would be to get a dc-dc buck converter and to drop the battery voltage down to 12 volts. Then get a relay that can use 6v and have that activate the connection from the battery to your light. I am doing something similar but my light already has a converter built in.

Stepping the voltage up from 6 to 12 is not an option as there is not enough current to even run a light at 6 volts.

I can provide more info but it seems that you don't need assistance anymore.

Adjusting voltage on light wiring. Bbshd

I have a great led light that I have been using for a few years but it's battery recently died so I wired it directly to the lighting cable on my BBSHD but the voltage seems to be at 9v not 12v so the light isn't very bright.

Is there a way of adjusting the voltage getting output?
Working...
