Hub motor durability on off-road tech trails

I'm looking at low cost hub motors. The only ones i know of are the xf08 for $107 and the 9c for $145, both with free shipping.

I'm wondering how much abuse a full suspension hub motor bike can take off road. By off road i mean lots of roots, rocks, ect. and a 200 ib rider.

Would there be a difference in durability between direct drive and geared? xf08(or xf08c) vs 9c? What part(s) is most likely to fail?
Will a direct drive knock a magnet loose after just a couple weekends at a bike park?

Your biggest challenge will be to keep the rim true.. those heavy hubs really slam down and can pancake a wheel over jumping ravines and that sort of thing

Ok thank you. I'm going to lace Alex DH19 rims so i'll make sure to to tension the spokes well.
