    Lower Seat Height

I know there is a lot of discussion on customizations to handle a taller rider like handlebars or 21 front wheel. I have a 10 year old that I am trying to figure out if he would fit on a Sur Ron, basically a bike he could grow into since he is on the cusp. I was hoping people had some thoughts on how to lower the seat height. I was thinking of going Supermoto 17 inch rims with offroad tires which seems like a Segway X160 setup. Any other thoughts or should I not try and fit him in a bike this size.

You can slack the rear suspension to lower the rear and slide the forks up on the triple clamp, that could lower it 1 1/2inchs,but smaller rims would work too.

      Thanks @Kauaiguy,

I am very familiar with motorcycle and mountain bike suspension setup. When you talk about "slack the rear suspension" do you mean run less pre-load or is there a height adjustment on the shock?

Run less preload ,yes.Or use. 9.5 inch shock in place of the stock 10.5.
