    Sur-Ron spoke sizing

    Hi everyone,

Because of Lunacycle's ridiculous wheel shortage, I am resorting to piecing my own wheels together based on the parts they actually do have in stock. Specifically, I'm making a replacement rear wheel, and just ordered the rear hubs which they still have in stock. I was wondering: Are the spoke lengths of the front and rear wheels the same? Because they have front wheels in stock, and if the spokes are the same size, I could just transplant a rear hub in place of the typical mtb front hub that comes with the front wheel. Do you guys think this is possible? Thanks so much!

Nope, not the same, the fronts are longer.
The rear hub flanges are longer than the front & the R wheel uses cross 2 spoke pattern while the front has cross 3.
The longer front spokes can be cut and re-threaded to fit the rear.
If you re-spoke the rear wheel, I strongly recommend lacing it with the cross 3 pattern for greater strength.

About 1 week ago you posted the Dubya Information in another thread here in this forum.
i just saw it again yesterday and within minutes tried to call their phone number with no one there on Saturday.
I filled in the information on the web site with my request for a complete wheel set. ( Rims-Spokes-Hub-rim locks)
I hope to hear back from them on Monday.
With the popularity of the SRX-LB and it weak wheels. One might think there would be a huge After-market wheel demand.
One might also wonder why Luna Cycle or Segway is not aware of the SRX-LB`s wheel weakness.?
Cov-19 Pandemic, China trade issues & shipping problems is beyond our controll. (That`s all I have been hearing)

Just curious.. Has anyone ever purchased or used Dubya USA services for the SRX-LB.
I`ve been waiting since May to hear from Wicked-Wheel-Werks.. (Nothing)

They make custom spokes so should be able to make you a HD wheel.I bought Talon cnc 1.4 rim locks from them( kinda rare).

              Hello
              Thank you for your email.
We do not offer complete wheels for this bike, we can look at doing a rebuild on the existing set.
              Thank you
My next option will be to ship my wheel`s to Dubya USA .
if I could locate a good set of spokes I could fix it myself.
Repeat : The spokes Luna-cycle sent me on 2 June 2020 are still in Transit or lost somewhere.
Repeat : Still no reply or information from WWW Wicked-Wheel-Werks

Are the spokes for the rear and front wheel the same? So there is only one spoke length for both wheels? I see spokes for sale on the Sur Ron Australia website but I don't know if they are for front or rear wheels...

As I tried again today I found this information.
The X spoke is for the Surron cross-country tires.
The R spoke is for the Surron road tires.
