Tomorrow I'm going to start my overhaul, im just a shade tree at best, going to take my time. I have access to my bosses shop and he even loaned me a four-wheeled to get back and forth. I'm going to rely on your expert advise if I get into a jam. I don't need to address you personally, you know who you are. G.L.O!

Good luck on your overhaul project...
Going to take your time. Great. "" Because if you don`t have the time to do it right the 1st time. When will you ever find the time to do it a 2nd time""
2018 SRX-LB 3 good years of use. Sounds like you got your moneys worth.
Eventually most of us will need to overhaul our bikes or replace the stock parts.
Take notes. Soon we may have to rely on your expert advise.

As you get it disassembled let us know the condition of the chain sprocket & primary pully on the swingarm shaft. (after 3 year of use)
As my stock chain was stretch to the max. I replaced the rear sprocket & chain but on the SRX-LB replacing the forward sprocket seemed like a major project.

I was considering replacing both pully and sprocket on the swingarm shaft. I don't think you can get these parts individually. If you know where too please show me the way. I wait until I get it apart. I have all the rear linkage out and next is the swingarm castle nut to de

Deal with. I think I will replace it with the nylon nut that other guys have done. What's your thoughts?

My chain was stretched back about as far as you could adjust them with the chain tensioners.

Thanks for the support. Wish I could figure out how to post pictures. I thought this Samsung S10 was a smart phone? You're the man...Dirt!

Most of the linkage bolts was red with rust, some where hard to brake loose. I think you could probably clean them up and reuse them but I'm glad I order new ones. Also just braking them loose put wear and tear on the bolts and nuts. Like you said 1st time you have to get it right and that's what I'm trying to do.

If I could push a button and get the bomber shocks front and rear I would do it.

You see how the battery is a copper color, the sun did that,it bleached it out, did it to the front wheel hub too. It turned the same copper color. That has always concerned me. Was wandering if other riders have experience the transformation. I have not seen anybody else mention it. Yeah I can post pictures!

Look closely and you can see the rust.

Notice the rip in the seat? Happen over winter. Had the bike covered up but the tarp stuck to the seat and the grips on the handle bars, ruin the tarp pulling off the bike. I need a good cover for this thing if it is going to set out in the elements.

To quote Neil Young....rust never sleeps...neither can I with this happening to my bike!
