I agree about Florida. Used to run VW sandrails on the street. Still can if you want to.Fenders were only "required" on the Interstate. But enforcement there was nonexistent anyway.

the laws for each state are different.
in CT year ago my motorcycle KTM 350 EXC only came with a certificate of origin, it had a head light and tail light but that's it. to get it road registered and legal I had to change the tires to a DOT tire then add a horn a battery and high low beam head light. the battery was needed to be able to have the lights on when the bike was not running. passed inspection then removed all the crqp I put on and 90 days later got a title in the mail from the DMV.
CT law is if the bike does under 30 MPH or is less than 50CC you do not need it to be registered and can ride it on public roads.
we own a Honda EZ90 cub that is not registered for the road but we take it on roads all the time and have been doing so for ten years never stopped. we don't ride it in the travel lanes of the roads and we keep it under 35 miles an hour not to be stopped. when I get my sur Ron I will also use it on public roads and just keep it off the travel lane and under 35 MPH or so.

I think alot of places in the usa will let you street legal your sur ron, pretty ez, all u need to do is add a rear brake light and a high n low beam switch for the headlight... might have to re attach the green wire during inspection idk.... some places may require turn signals too but think most places will just need the brake n headlight... u can probably do it in Florida... the bs laws here in California, im pretty sure ill never be able to get mine street legal here :(

The USA will only get the Dual-Sport version when the bike can pass all of the safety tests, and is totally safe for American highways.
