    My ass is killing me

OEM seat was a butt killer so I got the Luna replacement seat. Luna seat is still a butt killer after maybe a few more miles. RaceSpec makes a more comfy looking seat but is a no-fit is you have a seat extender/raiser which I do. Anyone know of another, more comfy seat? When my 60ah Chi battery shows up I'm really in for a butt beating unless I get something better.

Cloud 9 seats get good/great reviews. I have one of their cruiser seats on one of my bikes. It's nice but I wouldn't say great. Still looking for something better myself.

The only thing that's really helped my butt so far was a footpeg brace so I never have to sit down on rough terrain.

That and a having a fat ass.

        That and a having a fat rear-end .
Nothing has helped my aching butt, not even adding a foot-peg brace or a new seat.
At about 500 miles I finally broke down and ordered a Luna leather float seat for $95.00.
With the improved seat I was able to get 3 laps around my 7 mile loop in the woods behind my house.
Now approaching the 1000 mark. The improved seat is worn out too. I`ve learned to stand up while riding.
Thanks for the reminder. I have the stock seat which I intend to send out for a super-padded Seat.

Added a footpeg brace because I read on this forum years ago about a broken footpeg from a guy simply jumping up and down checking his suspension and his footpeg broke.

Fat rear-end. That`s not my problem. 53 years later and I still weigh 165, the same as when I graduated High school.
Proving Dirt bikes and healthy living can keep one in excellent shape. (If you haven`t had a serious injury)

Sounds like you wouldn’t recommend the Luna Float seat then?

          Thanks,

I find it makes me stand up more, and that is great for control. A comfy seat makes me lazy, I sit too much, and start to drop my elbows, e.t.c.

I tried ty-rapping and tapping more padding, foam and bubble-rap over my seat. The Luna leather float seat worked the best until I wore it out.

              The leather Luna float seat.
Then again maybe it`s just me or some other factor I don`t understand.?
At first I loved it. It`s about 1 year old now and starting to be uncomfortable.
The stock non-leather seat was uncomfortable from the start.
My 1997 DR-200 Suzuki seat is now 23 years old and it`s very EZ on the butt.
The Suzuki seats cover is shredding. I`ll take it to a shop it with the original SRX seat and ask them to make it the same. Both bikes have a 34" seat height.

From my experience, I just tried to add padding, didn't help. I found the seat being wider, even with 0 padding was 3x better than stock.. is: like an atv seat.. widener were the button is narrow around the knees.. IDK if that works for jumping tho
