Unlocked top speed of a youth Surron?

I just bought a Surron L1e and Surron youth for my kid. I cut the green loop wire and unlocked my bike. The youth didn’t have the green looped wire. But had a cut green wire already. The youth only goes 53kmh. Is the top speed on a youth? Or is it still locked?

The Surron Youth appears to be the 48V version of the LBX, which is equivalent to the Segway X160, and the top speed of that bike is listed as 31.1 mph, very close to what you're getting; it therefore appears that your Youth is already unlocked.

On 2nd thought I know it is still locked.
I own a 2020 SRX-LB also I never cut the wire. (yet)
With a 54 tooth sprocket it cuts out at 30 MPH.
I never cut the wire because as a senior odd road rider that`s enough for me.
If I want to go faster I use my MX bike. (Yamaha YZ-250)

America here, some of us still use MPH. 53-kmh = 32.9 mph. I would guess its still locked.
If he`s still an inexperienced kid/youth. I`d wait a few miles before I cut the wire.
