    Street Legal Light Bees

Both our bikes are California plated. My buddy down the street just received his plate yesterday.

I tried to register mine using the U Tube instruction, but it was denied. Any hints would be welcome.

All three of us just downloaded and filled out regulation form 230, sent in $21.00 and received our plates after 2 or three weeks.
Did you check all the boxes yes in section 2?
Did you write in the vin# and engine# in section 1?
Did you get an explanation as to denial?
Did you send a check for $21.00?
Our bikes meet all the criteria in section 2 and should not be denied.
      Lets get this worked out!

With no pedals, what's the (or is there) a risk of impound for falsification of registration?

Not at all. Section 2 line 2 states "Fully operative pedals for human power OR powered solely by electrical energy" with an option to check yes or no.

I have some questions about form 230:

                1) Where do you find an engine number for your bike?
                2) What do you put under the "California License Plate" field?
                3) Do you fill out anything in the "Distinctive marks or features" field?
                4) For the sake of knowing, how many horses does the MX's engine have? 3 horsepower? 3.5 horsepower?
                5) Are you now paying yearly registration for your bike?

UPDATE 2/07/19: According to Google, the MX has more than twice the legal horsepower defined by form 230:http://mag.cm/yCAYbDEm . As far as I can tell, checking the box on question #3 is lying.

deserthi - I was asked what I used for blinkers and I provided an honest answer. It's not my fault that they're blinkers are out of stock. Email the company. It's their product.

I, in no way was blaming anyone. Simply letting the forum know that all the products on that site were unavailable so go look somewhere else.

No, the 60-tooth sprocket will do the opposite. It will give you a lower top speed, but more torque. Additionally, the 60-tooth sprocket will throw off the speedometer and odometer because the Sur Ron MX gets its speed readings from the motor. The larger sprocket changes how quickly the motor spins.
