Pretty stoked on my X model Sur-ron. Really curious what you are all doing as mods. New tires? Tubeliss/tubeless? hacks? new forks?

Homemade rear mud guard, keeps mud out of rear shock. Removed brake cut off sensors. Soldered "low power" wire back together.
I would love to see someone tackle, and film a tubeless upgrade.1 Photo

With the weight of the bike and rider, will a complete tubeless conversion work? I'm guessing the bead won't really hold. I have tubliss(tm) systems in my dirt bikes and LOVE them. They aren't cheap and require a additional hole in the rim for the high pressure valve. I need to look to see if the rims on these bikes will work with them. I'll dig into it and if so, try slapping one in the rear first. It's super fun to play with almost zero pressure in your tire.
I also live with goat-heads that seem magically able to puncture even moto tires so it could save a trail-side tube replacement.

I've had mine for about a month now and there are a few things that I am still looking to get done, but I am looking to try some new things out as well...
I am probably going to replace or vinyl wrap the rear fender.
I did vinyl wrap the stock for protectors blue vinyl wrap. It's temporary just to get an idea of what I'm going to do next.
I've also included a remote light kit for the frame so it glows blue at night. And I turned the tail light towards the inside for a different effect...
I switched out the handlebars to Race Face Atlas Riser bars and a handlebar extension piece so it doesn't get overcrowded.
The stock brake pads were squealing and making the worst noises since the first day I got it.... so I switched the pads out with these Koolstop Resin pads. I had to cut away a small part of the edge where the cooling fins are located so it would slide in perfectly and allow me to use the pin that keeps the pads in place... So with some help from my trusty Dremel, it went smooth!
Lastly, I used a GoPro style camera mounted on the rear suspension linkage that syncs with my cell phone (mounted on my handlebars). Basically, a rearview monitoring system that allows me to see everything going on behind me. * I've been doing this for years on my personal bikes and my clients bike conversions as a courtesy... NYC streets are hard enough to drive in under regular conditions. Not having to turn your head to look back can really save you from some close calls and a lot of unnecessary pain4 Photos

Did a few mods to my son's Sur-Ron Light Bee X.
Added Pro-Taper 4"-rise minibike bars. (Had to disconnect rear e-brake sensor wire, as it was too short to stretch.)
Swapped stock brake pads for Shimano H03C pads (much better!)
Found a full set of Honda CRF70/80 black plastics on eBay for $30. Front fender fits with no problems (just drill some new holes) Holes are already tapped for M6 bolts in crown.
Rear fender was a bit more challenging. Had to trim the fender a bit, and bolted it to the stock plastic fender-mounting plate under the seat.
Now it is a lot more effective at blocking mud when we ride on the MX track. Before it would throw mud all over your helmet and backside.
It looks a bit more like a dirt bike than a mountain bike now, but is more practical in wet conditions.
