Hello everybody. Marc here from Germany. I have a Sur Ron (legal street version) for 1 week. The green / black cable is originally connected (version 2019). Now I would like to install an X-Copntroller. Is this possible with my Sur Ron? Does the green / black cable have to stay connected or do I have to disconnect it after installing the X-Controller? Marc, if your bike goes over 28 MPH with the green and black cable connected it won't make any difference when you install the X controller. Early on Sur Ron delivered bikes with the g/b wires CUT to limit speed. Recently they went to g/b wires CONNECTED to limit speed. -

Is that in Sport mode? Or EP mode? IF your bike is only capable of going 28 in Sport mode then you need to cut the green/black wires to DISABLE the speed limiter.
