Just Ordered, What should I look out for?

    Hi All,

Just ordered my sur ron x, is there anything I should lookout for when setting it up, first ride etc?
    Cheers.

Spokes on most bikes really need tightening from the factory. The bike is easily capable enough to destroy the lightweight rims off-road, with a fast rider aboard.

      +1 on the spokes.

Also the fork hardware holding the front wheel on. On RST fork that's the locking nut. On the DNM fork it is the dust caps and pinch bolts. Current production run has DNM.

In any case, you will want to check this is staying tightened after rides, especially hard rides, maybe use a bit of loctite on it (blue, not the red stuff that is never removable) if you do not want to regularly check it. If you lose that axle or the caps/nuts due to not keeping the hardware tightened it can be problematic to source replacement as they are hard to find.

Last Sunday my friends rented the indoor MX track at switchback in Butler Pa. (50`triple and 2-3` whoops)
I left my surron light bee at home. Most of these guys are A-riders I didn't want to destroy my bike letting them take a test ride.

Next time they rent the indoor track I intend to take the bike to show.

Does Surron/ luna-cycle have any deals if I sell bikes for them. Just showing the bike in my garage I could probably make a few sales.
Really not interested in making money. Just trying to save the sport and my neighbor`s ears.

With all the development around here the obnoxious noise has become a factor.
I build a small MX-track for my kids in my back yard. Now at 68 years old it will soon be the perfect pit-bike track.
Whenever the 450- 4 stokes started coming up out of the woods my neighbor freaked,

We used to have a referral system..but we already sell them so cheaply that was not practical so the program got scrapped.

If you got enough folks together to do a group buy of 5 we can do a discount on it, if that might be a possibility.

Tip: Get some kind of handlebar pad before hitting the MX track. If you have a light installed, probably best to remove it for the track day.

Switchback! You should have let Mad Mike and Stevie Roman rip that thing!

With the lightweight wheels and rims they might go away limping. As the wheels collapse under them on the 50` double.

Just posted about needing new HD Wheels, Rims and Spokes
I intend to race this Bike as I am the Senior Citizen MX Champion of the Universe... (In my own mind)

I have MX friends who rent out the Switchback Indoor track, we all split the costs. About $30.00 each
