This is the older beastly Nuvinci 171CVT. It weighs about 8#. 130Nm may not sound like much but with 2:1 ratio to the chainring that's 260Nm @ the motor. About double what a BBS02 puts out.
For strength this is up there with the Rohloff Speedhub. This would be good for tandems, Cargo trikes, overvolted BBSHD or Cyclone or High powered belt drive projects. These are NOS. When they're gone you will have a hard time finding one.Last edited by Retrorockit; 08-16-2022, 04:10 AM.
