Where to buy parts for Bafang middrives?

Specifically I have a center bolt between crank arm and axis and fallen off, on Luna X1, the motor is M600. Is it safe to ride without it BTW?

I tried looking at luna, bafangusadirect, and bunch of other sites. Googling skills fail me: I couldn't find the part itself or a catalog of m600 (like you normally would find for cars and motorcycles) to identify a part number. For example, for Kawasaki motorcycles it takes no time at all to find and order anything.

    Anyone can help me?

Did you ever find that bolt? Are you riding without it?

I didn't find the bolt, I'm riding without it, still didn't crash... Quite disappointed with Luna help there.

I think LUNA sells the replacement bolts through their website

Just email support@lunacycle.com with your order# and tell them you need an x1 crank bolt. We have them and can send one. If someone tells you otherwise feel free to have it escalated to me (gary)

Thank you, Paxtana. I do have a ticket open with support and they're sending one as soon as they are available. I was hoping this was a common part that I could find online and have it shipped express - but it appears to be fairly proprietary and not readily available.

What's your thoughts on tightening down the opposing hex bolts on the crank arm and riding without this crank bolt?

I would think a better solution if it really came to that would be to simply source a bolt that has the same diameter, length, and thread pitch. Put however large of a washer you need under it to match the collar on the original, and just screw it in. You can probably find something like that at boltdepot.com

BTW if anyone is wondering this would probably work, the M15 option https://www.ebay.com/itm/174012213841

Hi - I have read that several folks had similar issue. Is it recommended to some thread sealant on this and other bolts on the Luna X1? If so, any recommendations on what type of thread sealant? I am thinking loctite would be too permanent....

Blue loctite would be fine. Just do not use red loctite. Blue is for parts you may want to remove at some point in the future, red is permanent.
