Is it common for BBSHD to be 1 mm wider than specified requiring a spacer on the chainring side? This makes the chainline worse leading to noisier chain in granny gears despite use of Lekkie 40t pro hd chainring.

Could be some manufacturing deffect.
It was impossible to tighten down the locknut without bending the bracket.
To make it fit I was recommended to put a 1mm spacer on endless-sphere and forget about it.Last edited by sysrq; 09-07-2023, 12:04 AM.

I just thought somebody else should have had the same experience since BBSHD is already considered to have substantial track record.
TSDZ2 was tight fit from the start since it's using spacers on M4 bracket bolts anyway.
BBSHD should have been made like TSDZ2 to tweak the size inconsistencies with bracked bolt spacers on non-drive side to preserve better chainline.Last edited by sysrq; 09-08-2023, 07:49 AM.
