BBSHD width 69mm instead of 68

Is it common for BBSHD to be 1 mm wider than specified requiring a spacer on the chainring side? This makes the chainline worse leading to noisier chain in granny gears despite use of Lekkie 40t pro hd chainring.

The narrow BBSHD is made to fit 68-73 mm bottom brackets. You would normally only use spacers on the chainring side to make clearance for the gear case around the chainstay.

For some reason mine came with 69mm width.
      Could be some manufacturing deffect.
It was impossible to tighten down the locknut without bending the bracket.
To make it fit I was recommended to put a 1mm spacer on endless-sphere and forget about it.

when i got mine I had to use spacers in order for it to work so I bought these
Distributors and builders of life changing electric bikes.

choose the 68-100 mm option. these will do the trick.
Mine is a 73mm so 69 mm is not a problem

Are you saying your bike is 68 mm and with no spacers the BBS is 69? Are you measuring that or just going by specs? I don't know if there is an official tolerance but personally I would stay 1mm is pretty darn close for something like this.

The bottom bracket came out at 68 mm when measured and BBSHD at 69 mm.
I just thought somebody else should have had the same experience since BBSHD is already considered to have substantial track record.
TSDZ2 was tight fit from the start since it's using spacers on M4 bracket bolts anyway.
BBSHD should have been made like TSDZ2 to tweak the size inconsistencies with bracked bolt spacers on non-drive side to preserve better chainline.
