Are you sure your CA has the correct shunt value programmed? My Cyclone peaks at 43A on my CA V3 and another external gauge. How's your setup doing? Still going strong?

My Cycle Analyst is telling me that its pulling 22A max, not sure how accurate it is. It said the same thing with my Cyclone 3000W. But. it does reach max RPM's quickly in virtually every gear. So current draw is likely to be low. Motor temps never get hotter than 150F, and that's wide open throttle up a 500-1000FT climb and off-roading.

Do you have any kind of watt-meter? I'm wondering if you ever hit the full 50A, or if it accelerated fast enough that you only peaked at 45A, or even 40A...

omg allan that thing sounds and looks wicked fun... i would love to check it out....but that whining the bbshd is making does not sound healthy.

You should take apart the drive and see how all the parts are doing.

I cant imagine that running that much power with a external controller is sustainable. We have been there and done that.... and eventually we fried it. It was fun for a month or so :)
