    Luna Eclipse chain ring install

Just installed my Luna Eclipse chain ring. A ran into a snag immediately upon opening the package when I noticed that two of the outer bolts that hold the sprocket on the face of the ring were missing. Kind of a bummer, but I had to go to the hardware store anyways for longer bolts to mount the chain ring with the spacer. The stock mounting bolts are M5 x 14mm and i found that these were too short with a spacer and lock washers. I ended up using M5 x 20mm stainless bolts from Ace. I thought these might have been too long, but they actually worked perfect (they never bottomed-out in the drive, so I'm assuming they are okay). Anyways, I have just enough clearance for comfort between the teeth and the chain stay. I took it for a little test ride and it is awesome! The chain line didn't improve much over the Bafang chain ring, but the quality of the Luna Eclipse is just so much better. I can really feel a difference on steep hills. I lost about 3mph on my top speed, but that is okay for me.
