    Advice on BBSHD power

Noob here and looking into the various options for a build and leaning towards the Cyclone 3Kw because it will be for a trail bike off road and that motor has good power but hate the noise it produces. I have read the BBSHD can go to 1500w and another version of it to 2500w - can anyone explain what the latter 'ludicrous' version is please. Is it a modded version of the stock motor and therefore more unreliable as it would seem a good option to consider over the Cyclone.

Cyclone seems like a bargain compared to the BBSHD pricewise, I know its harder to install but I'm ok with that.

    Feedback appreciated.

    thx

Jaffa, I'm not sure what to make of our friend v3jm? Perhaps I should "moderate" and clean this outta your thread?

As far as your cyclone question - Cyclone is a great power plant but it's "different" from Bafang in several ways. 1st thing I notice when riding one is the sound. You definitely know something's going on down there. The other thing is that PAS isn't as refined and some effort to install. They're certainly popular drives though and for good reason. But it might not make sense for everyone....

Great video! Did you secure your motor with anything other than the included bracket? To prevent potential rotation down on drops and due to vibrations?
