I have 2 fatbikes with 26in wheels which with the tires measure close to 29in

one has a C961 which i have set to 29in tires and displays in Km , so if I adjust the tire size to 15 will it go faster?

the other has the new DC10 how do i set that one up??

    cheers Mark

I have one of these ... BUT I don't see a clock, outside temperature read out nor a watt meter?
No manual that I can find on the web and didn't come with any instructions!
      Looks great though!!!

he DP C10 is programmed much like the C965 display. There is no manual for the DP C10 yet. Instead of pushing the + and minus sign you press the info button 4 times to get the programming menu to appear.
Press it twice again to get to the next programming screen and enter code 0512. To program.
Also all others have 0 to 9 the DP C10 has 0 to 5. The DP C10 also has a usb port for accessories charging no of the others do. It also has a button for the backlight.

The Bafang web site shows the C11, C12 and C13 displays which all look interesting. Part of the appeal to me is they all incorporate the buttons, no separate piece linked by a cable. One looks a little odd, with the buttons below the display, but without seeing them on a handlebar. The C12 looks the best on paper, small and has all the feature boxes ticked. It doesn't mention a USB port, but their page for the C10 doesn't either.
          Any word on those?
Edit: The C13 is missing the outdoor temp on the specs and is larger, but the display implies mph/kph as well as watts.

Sadly they list items that aren't available in all markets. Sometimes I think the blogs plant to many criticisms that are nothing more than persoanal preferences, that in no way really affect performance. I still think the C961 is one of the most robust displays. Yeah on some handle bars an integrated button set might be nice, but nearly 3 years of riding with the seperate three buttons makes it a yawn, for me. It's really not that big of a deal in use.

I lick my finger and stick it in the air. If it's cold, it's cold. If it's warm, yup, it's warm. VBG

Make sure your battery is properly seated. Check the small display connector to see if you bent the pins, it's real easy to do! If you have a programming cable, plug it in, this will power the system without display. If that doesn't work, you may have to send it to Eric and have his minions take a look at it.

Something is amiss. On my last build I couldn't get the display to power up. I was dumb founded. Nothing made sense. I took a break and chilled a bit. Went back down to my shop. and realized the left brake lever was not retracted to it's at rest position. Settled the lever, Hit he display on button, and spin up. Typically it's some niggling detail.

Has anyone got anything to work on this display? Watt meter, temp, clock, etc? I just saw the c965 manual part to turn on the watt meter, but didn't get a chance to see if its in the display menu or not.

I'm a little discourage with this display. I spent extra for the features, but the only thing I can use it for right now is to select pedal assist level, and its really bulky for just that feature!

Still trying to figure out what I should select for 700c wheels, since 700c isn't in the menu, the battery meter doesn't work either since I have the 52v battery, and the mounts don't fit my handlebars anyways! :(

It would be cool to hear if anyone got any of the features to work.

I also have to DP C10 and don't see anything on there other than speedometer trip meter average speed there is no temperature no Watts or anything I can find. Also the USB port doesn't work with anything I plugged into it and I was using a brand new cord. When I get into the setup menu I put in 05 1 2 and changed the tire size from 26 inch 29 and it keeps changing back to 26. 700cc and 29 inches are the same from what I understand anyway. Very disappointed with this display myself going to use the 965 that came with the kit and send the other one back since the USB doesn't work. I've been playing with it for quite a while and cannot find the options that are supposed to be in there somewhere the manual for the 965 didn't really help much it said push left button push right button and there is only information button plus or minus on the C10 display

I'd have ben happiest if we had a C961 with no features and no speed limit, but the world moves forward. Probably need to find a 13 year old techie kid...

I tried following directions from The Forum here on the Dp c10 display I found the second menu then changed the tire size after punching in 0512 and I changed a couple other things but none of the changes pick it reverts back to 26-inch wheel instead of 700 CC also the USB port doesn't work on any of my devices is there maybe an on-off button for this somewhere? Was thinking of putting the 965 that came with the kit on so I could actually use some of the features I don't even see watts on the DP c10. Also I'm looking where to put user-defined voltage in any help on this display before I change to the 965 would be appreciated thank you. The motor the BBS HD was a breeze to install only took two and a half hours and I have no trouble running CNC Machinery at the Aerospace shop I work at and they have way more button then this thing does LOL

I would like a longer cable from the display to the remote so I can mount it closer to the grip. I use it constantly to alter PAS according to terrain. I prefer the three button remote too, I had a branch catch the edge of my five button one and bend the pressure switch and now it won't lay flat...... The three button is a whole lot easier to use on the fly wearing gloves too.
