I wrote Bafang about the manual and got no response. I changed tire size from 26 to 28 b/c that is the measurement that I got on my 700c tires. I used both the 961 and 965 manuals at the same time to figure it out. I have a feeling the headlight switch may turn the usb port on and off but haven't tried it yet. Decided to wire my headlight through a Grin Anderson tap directly to the battery. That way I have a resettable fuse for the wiring from the light. Good luck!

Well I hope this post ends up in the right place. After thinking the usb port didn't work on my DP c10 display I found I have to plug the device in the display while the display is off and then turn it on in order for the usb symbol to appear on the screen and the device starts charging. If I plug something in while the display is on it doesn't work until turning power off and then on again. Hope this saves someone else some frustration with the new manual less dp c10.

USB update: As indicated above the USB does not power up unless an active device is plugged into it before powering up the display. Interestingly, when the display times out and goes off the USB remains powered so you can continue to charge something or use a USB powered device when the bike is not in use. When you go to power the BBSxx system again it first powers off the USB then you have to push the power button again to power everything up.
A few people were wondering how much power the USB puts out. I left my phone plugged in for about a half hour and it charged like a cheap USB charger
so my guess is 1A at 5v. Not enough to charge fast or power a very bright LED headlight. It could be used to keep your phone charged while running Strava or to keep a powerful headlight with its own battery charged.
I figured out the programming and what is and isn't there but the headlight button on the 5 button switch is still a mystery.Do something that is good for your health, good for your wallet and good for the planet - get an e-bike.

Here is a list of what I've figured out. Please add ore correct as necessary:
Click "i" twice to enter the menu then click it once to move to the next option. Double click to save.
TC = Trip Clearance. Choose N or Y
S7 = Miles or KM. Use plus or minus to choose one then double click "i". This will take you out of the menu but is the only way I found to keep the setting.
BL= Back light sensor. How sensitive the sensor is to turn BL on.
BL-1 = Back light brightness
OFf = Screen auto off time
nna = Maintenance reminder. 0 = off 1 = on
SB = password. 0 "i" 5 "i" 1 "i" 2 "i"
LUd = Wheel diameter
SPl = Speed limit
601 = ???????
Hope this helps newbies like me!

Bafang should put a plug in this cable and sell an extension cable. This is the only cable that cannot be extended, if you could, you could stash the display away where it won't get hurt.

That's always an option on any cable....... But the whole point is to avoid having to create a science project. The whole advantage of the BBSHD is that it is plug and play, not wire, heat shrink tube and solder and play........ Having waterproof connectors and extension cables is one of Bafangs biggest selling points: no rats nest of homemade wires like on a Cyclone.

No manual that I can find on the web and didn't come with any instructions!
Looks great though!!!
Exactly. Some of the advertised items aren't there-clock, outside temp, watts. Now that I read your post, I know that it's not just me. I bought a 5V Led Headlight to go with it and it doesn't power that, either. I really wanted it to have what it said and then I'd love it. Maybe it's a programming issue (though I've been through all the menus including the password(ed) menu) but I can't find any way to enable the features that I wanted it for.

good stuff you're doing here. as already said , having problems to change settings as no possibility to insert the password (no fields to insert pass) . might easy be the supplier didn't want to offer, nevertheless some info given is wrong. tks for any assistance - sergio
