Luna BBS02 with Bosch PowerPack 500

I have a BBS02 which used for several years without problems. I use the 52v Luna shark pack which I would like to replace with a Bosch PowerPack 500 (36v, 13.4 Ah, 500 Wh) for two reasons:
    1. The shark pack is getting old as well as the connectors
    2. I would like a mass consumer battery pack and charger from a well know and established brand so I'm less stressed about setting my house on fire while charging overnight
I would assume this would just work as the battery is just a source of energy, but not sure what limitations I could expect. Any advise or experience is welcome!

Is your BBS02 the newer, 48-52 volt version? If so, I think the motor's low voltage cutoff (of approx 42 volts) wouldn't be happy with a 36 volt battery.

You also might not be happy with the reduced speed or "oomph" potential of 36 volts.

Have you considered an individually fused cell pack, like the Luna Wolf or the EM3ev?
