    BBS 02 compared to BBSHD

    I have 2 identical bicycles wiht identical 17,5Ah batteries. The only difference is that one is fitted with a BBS 02 750W and the other with a BBSHD.
    They are almost idenic programmed but the BBS 02 is faster and stronger than the BBSHD and uses half the power. Batteries last almost double time. Even quicker on full power even if the BBSHD is using 1000 watt.
    Too much internal friction in the BBSHD?

    Swap the batteries and see if symptoms switch with the battery.
    Fabrication is fun! Build something today. Show someone. Let them help. Inspire and share. Spread the desire.

      Had to ask ..rats!

      Then something has to be wrong with your BBSHD, I think, yes.

    I'd be interested in seeing the programmed parameters of each if you could take screen shots and post... Would be a bit of an effort, but perhaps someone would spot an issue.

      This is the only difference at full power:

      BBSHD BBS02
      SSM=3 SSM=4
      TS=20 TS=25
      SC=30 SC=40

      I don't know what those letters stand for...
      Surely you set the maximum amp draw on the BBSHD to 30?

      BBSHD is set to 30 on LC = Limited current amps.
      SSM = Slow start mode
      TS= Time of stop
      SC = Start Current
