Bafang 750 watt motor

I have installed a Bafang 750 watt motor with a 48 volt Unit Pack Power battery on a Santa Cruz full suspension bike. I get spark from the battery but nothing at the motor or read out on handlebars. What's wrong?

What do you mean you get spark at the battery?

I mean I put a tester on the terminals from the battery and got a reading.
