Possible solution to bottom bracket becoming loose

I have fitted the extra strap to stop the mid drive unit becoming loose. I think the large nut with the dimples gradually wears into the alluminium bottom bracket and causes the whole unit to rotate a little when pedalling. The strap is made out of steel and only a small nut and bolt about M2 drilled through the frame. Its only in "shear" so doesn't need to be any larger.. A blind hankbush could have been fitted but I didn't have the tool to fit one.

Looks like a good solution. I had the same problem and used a heavy duty hose clamp around the motor to lock it against the bottom tube (using another smaller hose clamp around that tube as anchor). Works fine so far and quite inconspicuous except that silver strip.

I made an aluminum strap that goes around the bottom tube and bolts to the motor.

That's a good fix, my idea would not have worked for you as you have rear suspension.

Wont wok for me, my air can mount is there.
I still have to use ether per-made bracket that is available here.
