My own personal preference is probably dictated by my only experience thus far, that being my 1000 watt 48volt rear hub motor build. I can reach 30 mph with it, do not worry with chain lines and all of that. That being said, the motor kit came from Amazon and as far as a brand goes, there really isn't one. I do have a cyclone 40 amp controller, and was planning on trying to use it to replace the stock 26 amp that came with the hub motor kit in hopes of more power without having to invest in another costly battery. Trouble is I am not sure about the wiring and do not want to fry the controller or the motor so until I figure it out I'll settle for what I currently have. BTW, nice pic of your motorcycle/e-bike lift, wish I had room and resources for a setup like yours. Ride on!!!!

    here you go bro
I am a motorcycle mechanic and that is a motorcycle lift table it will lift a Harley 800lb plus
it is powered by air I have had it for years
It makes a great ebike work station
the good news is you can pick them up used cheap
you can get a Chinese one from harbor freight that you pump up with your foot new for
under 500 they wont lift the weight mine will but they would make a great ebike station

look on craigs list in motorcycles type in lift table and see what you get

This is where it gets crazy
No matter how cool I think the Garry Fisher Cake 3 genesis full suspension is
I like the Gary fisher TASSAJARA Hard tail BETTER
when I ride them both as a bicycle the hard tail fits me better
No matter how much I like the cyclone 3000w mid drive
I like the simplicity of my hub motor wal mart bike better I rode it today
my thoughts are now leaning towards scraping the project on the cake 3
I will strip the bike back down to a bicycle and get rid of it
I will keep the cyclone 40amp controller and get rid of the rest
I will buy the luna 52v 24ah triangle battery which it is in stock and put it inside of the frame
where it is probably better ( forgive me Erick)
and I will install a 800w 9c hub motor with that battery in the hard tail and call it a day
I will be over volting the 9c so I am wondering what will come about
    any thoughts would be great.

East creek The bike sets on a motorcycle lift table that has a wheel vice in the front that is what holds the bike down the safety stand fits under the BB and you can peddle or run the motor for adjusting the derailleur and testing other stuff

Will Ride great to hear from ya again Man I thing you have a better plan the more I think about it the better the 72v sounds they are made of unattainable like the square 52v and it will be totally awesome when the ebike thing becomes so terminally cool and ultra hip that the powers at be make us buy tags and insurance for them The bike you have looks very useable keep it going Bill.

    Yes
The ohio weather and not riding will do that to you
Then you wake up in the spring and look in your garage and your bank account
and say WTF what did I do and then you start riding

Yeah, those g*)%%amn banks. What the hell is up with that? I was a quarter inch away from pulling the trigger on this cyclone build. Especially when they were offering the drive at $325. It almost seemed free compared to what I put into the hsd. And then of course I reallized I needed the bike, some other stuff. And I want to do this one with the 72 volter.
My '07 tacoma is turning into a clunker and I have never been happy with the camper van I bought sight unseen. With what I can get for both vehicles I will only need to come up with a few grand to acquire a brand new cargo van to be camp converted. Only insuring one vehicle will save me
    $400 a year for insurance.
Anyway,my only new ebikes for a while will be vicariously through you guys.
(So keep 'em coming, heh, heh)

How does that automobile jack stand keep the bike held in place? I like the idea!

That is a nice set up
man you have the battery that is a great one
If you decide to go with a cyclone I will be happy to give you a hand
I just hooked up my 36v 15ah to my cyclone so I can test it out
man that 3000w cyclone puts a hurt on that 36v battery
the best set up would be the 72v or the52v at the least.

I do. It's a Chinese Conhismotor 1500w (30A) kit strapped onto a hardtail 29er with the 52V/20Ah Luna battery made up of Samsung 26F. I just ordered a Luna 60A bluetooth programmable controller to bump it up to 50A until I can afford a BBSHD or to do a Cyclone properly. I attached a picture below.

I was about to suggest one of the Luna shark or whale pack until I remembered those only have 30A continuous BMS.

There is no hijack glad to be able to make a contact

The bike project is dead until I can get a battery or build one my self
at this point I am waiting on luna to re stock.
until then I am just working on motorcycles.
Do you have a ebike now
