Specialized Carbon 'Fatboy' and the new 7000W Cyclone MidDrive
The Cyclone 7500 does not have a gear box, so it will spin at insane speeds (compared to the Cyclone 3000 which has a 6:1 reduction). Is it stronger? Maybe not. 120 amps is just 3 times the current of the Cyclone 3000's controller. Without that 6:1 reduction, it may only produce half the torque of the Cyclone 3000.
...The 7500W motor from cyclone is a lot stronger than the 3000W... it can potentially eat drive chainrings like crazy.
As for cadence, yes, forget about pedaling along with it. Even the 3000W is pretty much useless for "pedaling along" Mine spins at 350 so I just "pedal along" even though my legs don't do anything.
