Batribike Breeze Hub Wiring

Hi,
I'm new to ebikes so please excuse any obvious mistake. I've just bought a batribike breeze that has a few problems. One is that I've found a disconnected white wire coming from the motor. The wire is disconnected by the controller but there are no missing connections on the controller that I can see. The wire has some kind of connector on the end though. Can someone tell me what the wire is for or link to a diagram?

It turns out that the wire is probably a speed sensor from the hub. It's not used on my bike as the speed is somehow calculated by the controller from the Hall sensors in the hub.
