HubMotor rusted solid

Parted down to the axle/hub/armature completely rusted in place. Its a RMB Flex 500 FrontWheelDrive, one-piece 16" rim/hub/drum. Small cable-brake-shoe attached.
The motor wiring cut & shorted at the poorly-designed "drilled" axle. Machine parked for ##years. Four zombie batteries 48V w/blown fuse. Have no idea if motor controller functions.
Tried soaking cleaner/oil , tried hot hub/iced armature, hydralic pressed, currently water-soaking in the freezer for tomorrow's steam bath. Did I miss anything ?
Any/all ideas appreciated !

If you can get it apart and working again???PB Blaster is a good rust dissolver available at auto parts stores. Try Grin Technology Ferrofluid. FF is an oil with magnetic particles in it. It conducts heat from the armature to the outer magnets improving cooling. The magnetic particles keep it in place.
I have a lot of experience with brake drums rusted to the brakes shoes on trucks and trailers that still use those. If the armature has swollen up with rust, and become trapped in the magnetic ring it may not be possible to save it without breaking the magnets. Lots of oil, and patience. Vibration with a plastic hammer might help. But hard banging will break the magnets. 4 years is a long time for things to get stuck to each other.

Well, its pretty clean ! The steam bath brings out the color. Rusty-RED !

We will re-try PB Blaster. OK to submerge in a soaker ? Worried that the 'coated' coils could be ruined by sum-sooper-kemical !

The NAPA parts guru, suggested another fluid (maybe Ferrofluid ?) was best for brakes, but bulked when I mentioned copper-wound-coils.
Vibration tools don't work well in a vice ! Big bench vice happens to be the only thing that will support the wheel !
How big is the rusted gap ? The thin-est saw blade is .0030 thick.

Ferro Fluid is a Grin Technology motor upgrade for when you get it back together. It's mainly for better cooling, but fills the space in the motor with oil, so it should help keep water out.
I guess they're calling their ferrofluid Statorade .

Well that's a lot more enthusiasm for repair than I have

I have a DD hub motor that seized and I tried to open it but after five minutes it went to the dumpster, my time is more dear than that...

Its pure Chinese junk. Built & sold exclusively to Americans that pay hundreds of dollars for such crap from a wealthy importer who, by the way, paid a little over $100 for the piece of junk.

Todays xtra: Just opened new ACDelco (Detroit) spark plugs to fit my General Motors (Detroit) automobile.
The box says the spark plugs are MADE-IN-CHINA. "What, me worry ?"
Tomorrow, I'll re-cycle the scooter,, If my car will start ! "Grin & bare it"
