I gather that DD is direct drive, but I don't know what FF stands for. Are there any more details that you can add?
Are you trying to select a system voltage?Last edited by commuter ebikes; 06-01-2018, 08:42 PM.

Hey Jaxxy, are you talking about adding ferrofluid to your hub motor? If so, go to youtube and type "statorade" into the search box. I found 2 good videos, (1 instructional, 1 real world testing), both by grin technologies. I have no experience with hub motors so I can't help beyond this. Good luck

Hey you deciphered the cryptic message. Way to go.

That is great decryption, getting "some ferrofluid" out of "so FF". In retrospect, "I don't know how to determine how much I should put in" was a big clue.
If you add too much ferrofluid, the only penalties are cost and weight. Buy the ferrofluid from here: https://lunacycle.com/luna-ferroflui...-coolant-10ml/
The product description includes this helpful link: https://www.electricbike.com/ferrofl...-direct-drive/Last edited by commuter ebikes; 06-02-2018, 03:06 PM.
