    NOS Nuvinci 171B kits.

    It arrived. GAWD is that thing heavy! This is plan B if my 750W TSDZ2 bike shreds the Nexus 8 hub. I ordered a shift sensor for it. I really like the one I just put on my BBSHD. So maybe I won't have to resort to this 8# monster.

      Shift sensor for the Nexus? If its for the Nuvinvi I didn't think those needed one since there isn't any sort of hard engagement and disengagement going on,

      The vendor recommends one for the Nuvinci. Says they don't shift well under E bike power. I think the drive balls under power get "sticky"
      But yes the protector is for the Nexus. I already went from 7 to 8 speed because the 7 wasn't quite up to it.
      I have no use for the Nuvinci at this time. But a 14 years old NOS high end CVT kit isn't going to be there later if I change my mind.
