Is Nexus 3 speed out of production?

wisk9ice - dunno if the Shimano SG-3D55 3-speed disk hub has been discontinued, but it does look scarce. It used to be easy pickings for a C-note (complete with shifter). I get the feeling the supply line has been dry since COVID-19, as it is for many components I've heard.

If I still used mine I'd be tempted to get a spare "guts pack", which can be had - for now, anyway.

Where are you getting your information? I have not seen anything. I have 3000 miles on my inter3 without issue off of a 1000 Watt bbshd. I would not worry.

Just like the title asks, is this hub no longer being manufactured by Shimano? Considering a 3 speed IGH, but will pass on Shimano if parts availability will dry up.
