Battery Charge Indicator lights extremely inaccurate on Dolphin

My dolphin 52V battery is displaying FULL CHARGE....right until the moment it dies. (meaning .... i can push the battery check button and all lights lights....start my ride and WHAM.... dies....then I get the RED only light of battery death. Is there a remedy? Can someone assist? Thanks in advance.
I have just started my daily use of the system in my commute to work and it is a great asset....I will rely on it more and more in the coming weeks of pedaling.

The LED meters are likely set for 48V but even on 48V batteries are next to useless. The red one never goes out even when the battery is really flat so you only have three that do anything. I've got some 48V dolphins and find them rather pointless.

I highly recommend a battery management display like batt-man or cycle analyst. I've got the batt-man and it's calibratible - I found the voltage to be very good and the current offset was off just a little off and easily remedied. These not only give a nice digital readout of voltage, current, power but also the totalized amp-hours, watt-hours and distance, and catch things like minimum voltage, maximum current and logs about an hour and a half worth of the data accessible by USB. The speed indicator on it is calibratible too down to the millimeter of circumference so the speed and distance can be made extremely accurate.

AZguy: thanks for the reply.... I watched the LUNA install and setup video on the Batt-man....very interesting! Does the wheel size setup offer any accuracy? I am currently using the C961 Bafang display. It is not at all a good battery charge indicator. Plus the size is overwhelming.

I just tweaked the wheel size until the batt-man speed and distances matched my GPS speed and distances. It was doing perfect until I replaced the tires and that threw it off a bit...

The batt-man does a very good job of providing battery data. I can't speak to the cycle-analyst but I know they make it with the intention of being able to replace the display - the batt-man not so much although it would be fine with a throttle-only bike...
