Did you end up picking a fender? I'm in the PNW and looking for a rear fender. I got the mucky nutz fender and it isn't long enough.
I agree, all the fenders you see on amazon are way to short for serious PNW riding. The swing arm lays very low on the x1 for the zap strap on fenders you see on amazon which causes them to be even shorter than on other bikes. I have two rear fenders I am looking at while waiting for the sweet rains to return. One fender is an old one I had on my old Giant stance which had a bbshd on it. I put it on the x1 and took some pictures so you can see it. It actually fits on the X1 better than it did on my old Giant bike and it is very sturdy and has taken a beating for several years now. I also bought another strap on fender to try and I took a picture of it on the bike so you can see the fit. It is just sitting on the swing arm as I did not strap it on. I bought this one because it was longer than the others I saw, however it seems a bit flimsy and may still be to short. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WZPQ2SY?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details I think most of the strap on front fenders on amazon will probably work. Hope this helps.

Honestly wish they didn’t send that email saying the bikes are built and ready, because now I’m disappointed every day I don’t see that tracking update.

Still waiting for the new X1 to ship.
I have had the RRP ProGuard Front Bolt on Mudguard and Rear Zip Tie Installed on Lyrik Fork for 3 months no issues.

So I wanted to try and get the RRP ProGuard Bolt-on to fit the Lyrik fork. He is how I did it. Purchased RRP ProGuard Standard MudGuard Purchased ProGuard Sleeve Pack for SR Suntour fork I installed it by drilling a hole in the middle of the fork. Same location where the SR Suntour has a hole. Purchased a 4mmx20mm screw from

Neat! So this is going to be X1#2 - sounds like you're going to be keeping the old one, too?
Will be really interested to get your review on riding experience between both bikes.
Believe it ultimately came down to your early X1 having a rare version 14.4 firmware which reportedly worked pretty well.
You skipped over 14.5 and you new bike should have 14.6 - which also reportedly works well?
    Looking forward to the review!!
I am keeping X1 #1 which has these upgraded parts
    Carbon wheel set,
    700mm carbon bars,
    40 tooth chain ring,
    ZTTO Eagle one piece cassette,
    PEEK gear,
    860C display,
    160mm crank arms
    SRAM Eagle twist shifter
    Tubleless with Stan's
    Lizard skins chain stay protector

I bought the 2nd X1 for guest riders to join me on my long rides

It's hard for me to ride with my buddies who ride normal mountain bikes and gravel bikes
So now I can invite one to come along using X1 #2
They have ridden my E-Fat bike with me before, but that bike is not a mountain bike

X1 #1 was from mid 2019 batch and it has 14.4 firmware
    Current X1's have 14.6 firmware

I will definitely be doing a compare of the two bikes
    If I like 14.6 better, I will upgrade X1 #1 to 14.6

I have already some parts on hand to upgrade on X1 #2
    700mm Carbon bars
    SRAM Eagle twist shifter
    ZTTO one piece cassette
    860C display
    40 tooth chain ring
    Lizard skins chain stay protector

The new X1's already have the 160mm crank arms and a 38 tooth chain ring
I may install the 40 tooth ring I have, not sure about this yet.
I am not installing the PEEK gear in the new X1
I'll keep the stock wheels on it for now
I'll go tubeless with the stock wheel set

I'll have some new take off parts for sale once I install the new stuff
    Aluminum Luna Bars x 2
    Stock cassette x 2
    Shifters x 2
38 tooth chain ring- not sure about this yet
    Tubes
