The tires are not puncture proof? So other than brake pads that’s about it? How much is a new battery on average though to cost?

A punctured tire is not really a maintenance thing, but you could put some flat attack in there if that is a concern. Personally I have not had a flat in over five years, and just bring a can of bike fix a flat in case I need it so I don't take a hit on rolling resistance. We don't have a price up yet for spare packs but I would guess somewhere around 500, give or take. There are other bicycle maintenance things that you might check every once every year or two, like pivot points and headset, but it's not something I would worry about too much.

Just saying excellent communication and delivery. FEDX dinged the box a little but not bad. The bike came with no instructions but the you tube video helped. It was put together in 30 minutes by taking my time. Well made. The black paint has a few dings so you might consider the silver the black looks good though. It is significantly beefier than I expected. It seems well made and well engineered, as you would expect from Luna. THE THROTTLE IS A HOOT.
Has anyone decided on a mirror? I tried a bar end but it wouldn’t work.

Sorry….what reasons would the bike ever have to come back when it comes to warranty, maintenance, display issues. How long does the battery last and how many charges does it take for the life of the battery?

Warranty and support is handled by support team remotely, as is the case with most consumer direct ebike companies. Actual support cases would be largely the same as any other ebike; if a controller fails it can be swapped, if gears strip in the motor the gear set can be swapped, same with display etc. If there's a battery problem it can be tested, troubleshooted, check the usual stuff like contacts, switches, bms, then fix or swap the part. Over time this knowledge base page will be populated with info on how to do all of that and in the meantime many of the other knowledge base pages have info on how bikes are typically supported if you are curious. Your question is very open ended and there is not enough time in the day to write the many pages it would take to explain every theoretical support case an electric bike may generate, but I hope that helps.
The battery is a high quality MJ1 pack, in a 4p configuration it is pulling significantly less than the max rating for the cells which would be 40A, since this bike pulls something like half that it will keep cycle life high and heat low. MJ1 is a premium cell type for ebike batteries due to it having a good balance of discharge rate and capacity but it can get warm if you pull a lot of current, so keeping this capped at 20A continuous means it will stay cool and stable.
The cells are rated 400 cycles but that means at 400 cycles you would be at about 20% loss of capacity from what it originally was as well as noticeable voltage sag; not ideal but also does not mean it is unusable at that point either. Considering you can, depending on the usage, get more than one ride out of a cycle, this is not bad at all. The ideal is to keep a low depth of discharge per cycle, i.e. do not take state of charge too low and do not fully charge too high, but keep the battery in a band between 20-80% where possible. If you do that when possible you can stretch a 400 cycle battery to multiple times that number, especially if you charge at low speeds when you are not in a hurry.
This is why we sell the luna advanced charger with percentage settings and current settings, if used right a battery can last a very long time. I got ebike batteries in my own garage over 5 years old with no significant loss in capacity, and it is because I treat them right. Really has more to do with how you treat them than what they are rated for. Not necessarily. You would just have to do some math. It says on all chargers what the current it puts out is. If you were using a 2 amp charger that would be adding two amp hours per hour, so if you looked on your display and it showed the battery was at say 50%, you might put it on the charger for a couple of hours to add four amp hours, which on this 13.5 amp hour pack that already had 50% or in other words ~7 amp hours, would bump you up to around 80% or 11 amp hours.

Automated abandoned cart emails ask that yes, if you left without getting to the shipping step in checkout you may not have seen it yet when it was abandoned. It would have provided this information when you finished checking out though, there is not a way to finish checkout without going through the shipping step. You can pm me sure but I can't do anything about the shipping cost.

Lead time is typically five business days. Some of the earlier orders took bit longer, looks like some of the later ones are shipping a bit sooner, but on average about five business days. It goes ground via fedex freight so transit time to WI roughly 4-5 days. Actual delivery date will depend to some extent when you schedule the delivery appointment; if you see tracking nearby and have not gotten the appointment call you can call fedex freight directly at 866-393-4585

I had a similar thing with USPS. Stuck in WA state for a week. I finally got the shipper involved after the delivery date expired. Then tracking allowed me to watch it bounce around South Florida for another week. No problem found with the shipping label when it finally arrived.

a couple of questions now that I have had the bike for a few days
1 On the display on the left there is a meter that’s called PDW. What is that exactly? I can’t really understand how it relates to my leg input vs the power and input
2 down in the menu there are two things :the battery voltage and what how is that important for me to understand and what is SOC?
3 Finally I remove the seat they came with the bike which was ridiculously hard and put on a soft seat but I felt like I am pushed forward. There’s no way to adjust the angle of the seat. I want the seat to be flat not pointed down. Do you have any idea how I can fix that because the seattube is bigger than many other bike seat tubes. SOC is state of charge. Battery voltage is what many folks use instead of a percent gauge as it can give a better idea what your percent is compared to most gauges, since a gauge is an abstract representation and does not take into account variables like voltage sag. This chart shows how voltage relates to percentage but like I said it is an estimate, if you memorize it you would get a feel for it over time, very handy for experienced ebikers to have option to show voltage.
I don't know about the modification you are describing as I have not even seen a pic, but I would assume if it is not angled to your satisfaction you could shim it.
