Change stock 4.9 fat tire to 3.9 or 4”

Can someone recommend 4” tire and rim for KHS 1000 2017 bike tires are to big for the riding I do at 4.9”. I would like to maintain disc brake and stock cassette
    thank you

Are you looking for more of a street tire or just want something less wide? The stock KHS rim is 100mm. You can put a 4" tire on that rim. If you want a narrower profile rim, you could drop down to an 80mm. I've got several sets of wheel/tires for my F@E including a set of 2.5" 29ers. My standard street riding set up is an 80mm rim with 3" Duro Beach Bums. None of my setups are tubeless, so rim type isn't super critical.

Were you able to buy a 29er wheel pre built with fat bike spacing? I am looking for a front hub for a Bluto, 150mm I think, premade to about a 40mm rim.

Yes, and no. Depending on your setup, there are some premade sets. Frame bikes offer several 29er wheel sets for their fat bikes. Here is a link to see if you can find a set. https://www.the-house.com/bike-wheels.html I bought a set but only used the rear wheel and built a front wheel. You can always have a bike shop make you what you want.
