Tires size: 255x80
Tube, 10x2.5 with 90 deg angle valve. (10x2.15-2.25" tubes works too)
Brake pad: shimano m355 pads
Changing a flat: You split the rim to fix a flat similar to v2, rather than removing the tire. This greatly improves how easy it is to do :)
Suspension: This new suspension is sort of like a Thudbuster in that it is similar to a rubber elastomer. This also cuts down on moving parts, thus increasing durability.
Length: 51" tire to tire length. This is from the end of the tire to the other end of the tire, i.e. not from the tire center to tire center. In other words this is the overall length.
Deck: The deck is wider than is usual, wider than the previous version. This helps with stability and ease of use.
Anti-Theft: After putting in alarm / standby you hit the chirp button. You might have to press unlock to get it to stop chirping. But after that if someone touches the handlebar or causes any vibration, it starts chirping loudly.
Storage: If you only turn the display off the battery will self drain as the controllers will still be powered, so to put the scooter in storage mode you need to lock it. There are a few ways to lock it and prevent batt draining . The easiest is to just press the "unlock" button a few times . You can make sure its locked by trying to power it on. The other way is to press the lock button a few times and then the alarm button.
level 1 - 10 mph in both dual and single mode
level 2 around 25 in dual and single mode .
level 3 is around 28 in single mode then click it to dual and it goes well over 40 mph*
To be able to go to 40mph you need to let let go the throttle for a sec and go back to full throttle at some point, you can't go from zero to 40 on a full throttle acceleration.
TO MPH: quickly click menu button go to system and change to imperial . hold +and - button to reset trip
Dual /Single :There is a light button on the scooter next to the horn. Hit the button and it switches to single motor mode.
Lights: To turn the light on or off it's a long press of the + button on the control pad.
NOTE: Power meter is not functional on this scooter.
Storage
There is a lock and unlock function on the scooter. When you leave it unlocked the system is still powered (even if the lights and dashboard are off). There is still a parasitic drainage on the battery each day (can drop 0.5-1V per day). But if you lock it (using the remote) the drainage will stop. All the scooters are shipped in the locked position or avoid drainage while in transport or storage.
Brakes are spongy?
Not to worry this can happen if some air got trapped during storage and shipping, you might want to try to burp the brake before doing anything else
Remove caliper from the disk (2 bolts) . Squeeze lever a bunch of times until pads touch each other,
Make sure the lever on the handle bar is flat (not angled downwards ) open bleed port on lever and then spread pads on the caliper with clean screwdriver. . Air will come out of the bleed port, repeat the process a few times until you don't get bubbles and gurgles and then put back the bleed port screw.
Before putting the caliper back make sure to spread the pads as far as possible and put the caliper back on the scooter disk, hand tight the crews for now (caliper can still move). Pull hard on the level and hold it, tighten the 2 caliper screws and release the level.
Please note this is not the same as opening the port on the caliper. Don't ever open port on caliper unless you plan to do complete bleed
