Hi everyone
I'm a newbie, but I can't find the answer to this... Now I'm sitting at work contemplating how I'll get home :)... any thoughts?
My luna Cycle 52V 20Ah battery pack is not charging above 50.2V, and if I connect a multimeter in series with the battery, I see that it's drawing only 0.35A no matter what the current reading switch I select on the charger (the charger is 1-5A).
This morning I had 58.1V on the battery, and it bled down only 0.5V after I charged it to 100% two days before. I rode 18 miles and ended up with 47V on the battery. Initially it charged well at 3A, as before, but once it got to 50V, it barely got an extra 0.2V in several hours.
It's a new battery - I only charged it 4 times to 100% (to balance), and at most the voltage dropped to 51V since I bought it. I had the battery pack open to vent it during the ride and checked it several times - it barely got warm, as it was below freezing during the ride.
Thanks everyone!
