    Luna Charger Display Issues

The Luna Charger has a diplay that will give you an idea of what your voltage of your battery is when charging.

The Luna Cycle Display will display the chargers maximum voltage when not plugged into the battery. The 52v charger for example will display 58.8 This is normal. This way if you have 2 luna chargers, one 52 volt one 36 volt, you are less likely to confuse the chargers.

The Luna Charger is displaying more its total voltage output, and will only give an estimate of the batteries voltage. For a more accurate guage of your batteries voltage we recommend you invest in a low priced mulitimeter like this one, and measure your batteries voltage after you unplug the charger.

We think a mulit meter is an essential tool for every Ebike builders toolbox.

The display is the most common problem with the Luna Charger..it will sometimes burn out. A burned out display will not effect the luna chargers performance in any way.

We have replacement displays here: If you have burned out display we would be glad to send you a free display with your next order. Just email us at support.

I'm sure it could. I just replaced one in a charger, and it only had 2 power wires. Need to waterproof it somehow. And check the accuracy, it's good enough for monitoring general voltage, but maybe off a few tenths.
