A little off the subject but I am in need of help. I have designed micropressor based test fixtures for fractional HP motors in the past. They were designed to drive computer disk drives. The quality control specifications were very tight. I am trying to build a small (18 foot) row boat to travel the waters of the Amazon river and its tributaries. An excellent motor would be a brushless moter for these 5 knot row boats. I currently have a Bafang BBSHD 1500 watt motor on my mountain bike and love the torque. My problem is selecting screw dimensions. I cannot find the torque curves for Bafang motors so I cannot calculate screw size and pitch. Does anyone have data on Bafang motors?

has anyone managed to get the DPC14 to display battery parameters and temp through the sub menus on the display, mine just shows some data but on the next screen a load of dashes

Hi I have a KD21C display for my Bafang 500w 48v hub motor, I downloaded the manual to program it but the terminology they use isn’t familiar to me, Does anyone have a link to explain some of their phrases and what they actually do ? PAS setting ?, PAS Ratio ?,Power Assistant Sensor Setting?, Thanks for any thoughts/links

Is there a difference from buying a Bafang computer from Luna cycle or AliExpress, will bike behave different? And whole motor kits also, any difference in quality?

Overall basic hardware design between vendors? No its the same design. Some vendors say they are running special firmware on the motors and displays. Some resellers may ask and pay for a little higher quality control plus do some QC checks themselves before shipping. I don't think Bafang offers any warranty at all, warranty if there is any is done by the reseller. You can talk to a person at Luna, AliExpress? I think where you see the biggest differences is in the batteries especially when you factor in the shipping costs. Lots of stores of getting sand filled no name cells in some of the packs where the price seemed too good to be true.
