How to adjust Cyclone spindles with spacers and without

First off, ONLY the 68-83 mm square taper spindles need spacers. https://lunacycle.com/cyclone-bearin...racket-spacer/ The spacers are 10 mm thick, so if you have a 83 mm Bottom Bracket, you'll need a spacer to take up the 10 mm of slack. All the other spindles, both ISIS and Square Taper, have adjustable bearings. They are adjustable with the proper tools, like a hammer, a piece of steel tubing, and a gear puller. The gear puller is used if the bearing needs to be moved further out, for use with larger Bottom Brackets. The hammer and tubing are used if the bearing needs to be moved further in, for use with smaller Bottom Brackets.

If you just need a few mm you may be able to sandwich it into the the BB and tighten it down, using the BB itself to move the adjustable bearing.

    Hi,

If I understood correctly, if one has a 68mm BB shell then one needs a sapcer for a 68-83mm BB? Is the 68-83mm BB actually 83mm?

I’m doing the install on a northrock fat tire bike. I think they sent me the 120 square BB but mine is only 100 wide. Is the shaft length the same on the 100 and 120? If it is I may just need to move my one bearing in

If one has a 68mm BB case, would one need a more emollient for a 68-83mm BB? 68-83mm BB is actually 83mm

i just bought the 100-110mm BB from Luna, and i think i was sent the wrong one? it only measures 68mm, and i dont see any way to make it wide enough to fit the 100mm BB shell that i have. the machined surfaces that the bearings are pressed onto do not extend past where the bearing currently are, and if i added spacers it is not wide enough to get a pedal on. am i missing something? it looks nothing like the pictures on the site or the ones posted in this thread.
