I had similar issues. The bend in the PAS sensor can be made to fit the drive side, but there is no room there to mount the magnet disk. The magnets work much better on the non-chain side.

If you have two lock rings for the non-drive side, just line up the bb with enough thread sticking out so you can layer the sensor between the lock rings.

I'm going to have the same issue - are you saying to replace the spacer with the pas sensor ring or have both of them between those lock rings? Thanks

Layering is the way to do it. One ring holds the BB in place, sensor goes on and fits around the existing ring because of the bend in the bracket. Outer ring goes on, and clamps the sensor to the inner ring, while also locking everything down.
