    FAQ: Gear Sensor

Bicycle drive trains were not designed to be shifted under heavy load. As riders, we naturally reduce the pressure on the pedals while we shift… or else we hear an awful noise from the gears.

The gear sensors attaches to your shift cable and detects when the gears are being shifted. When the gears are shifted, the sensor reduces power to the motor allowing you to shift properly and seamlessly without destroying your derailleur or chain.
