Motor kits

Hello everybody, is there any difference in the motor kits that you buy from AliExpress than from Luna's?
The price and shipping differences are much different for me as a Canadian. Thanks for input.

In theory they are all the same except for maybe the firmware they are running but I suspect there are also some quality control differences too. Luna may be paying a little more to get units made on the day shift? Night shift maybe runs a little faster and has the lower paid workers and that is how some places can sell for less? The other factor is support and warranty. I don't think Bafang has any warranty at all so what ever you get if any comes from the seller which when its from a vendor like Luna means something because they do stand behind what they sell and try and help resolve issues.

Have you tried this place? I really don't know anything about them other than they are in Canada.

Golden Motor Canada is very nice to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them.
