Hello all, I was wondering how difficult it is to change your battery case my charging port has failed it's a barrel charger have a brand new case and I like to just take the battery and the BMS out and swap it ,thanks for your help, it is a Luna 13.5 amp hour shark pack the original one.

I had a shark case that broke and it was very easy to swap the case - hardest part is making sure you source the right case... there's at least a couple incompatible cases called "shark" -

I don't think so - it was a couple of years ago and I solder very frequently, often several times a week, so it would be easy for me to forget (and I'm old too) but I think I just moved stuff from one case to the other... if there had been any soldering it would have likely been super easy stuff like the external connector... certainly nothing to be afraid of... I still have to old case somewhere and if I can find it I could look at it...Comment

I found the old case. It looks I took all the innards from the old one and put them in the new case since there was a bunch of unused hardware including the little LED charge level PCA. charge port connector and main discharge connector all unused. I can't be sure that I didn't unsolder something and then solder it back to get it in but it doesn't look that way... regardless if need be all very easy soldering.
I'll say that with the caveat I may have a different shark case than you. Mine has the four rectangular discharge pins a few inches from the middle and no power switch.Comment
