    Chainguard if you must

    I road all summer without a chain guard and no problem. I did find some add-on brackets that could be a solution for hanging a guard. http://store.velo-orange.com/index.p...uard-kits.html Click image for larger version

    Great idea. I was climbing with the BBSHD using the Mini 30 with the Sunrace 42 tooth cog. My pant leg got caught and which bent the Sunrace 42 cog and broke a tooth off the Mini 30, and bent the derailleur. Very expensive, plus I had to push the bike back to the truck.
