I just built a full suspension trail bike up and the wires seem so vulnerable based on where they come out of the motor. I'm also worried about water incursion. I am wondering if anyone has a good way to address the unfortunate placement of the BBSHD wiring. I was thinking about using a few layers of aluminum tape, but that stuff sticks so well that it'd never come off.

Something similar to the zip wire loom is the spiral wire loom. It needs to be wrapped around like tape but doesn't have the gaps to collect dirt.
Spiral Wrap is an easy way to bundle multiple cables into one. The wrap design allows for cable breakouts to create specific re-routing and replacement of wires. Use this wire wrap like a tool that holds cable tight while protecting from abrasions.
I just picked that link for the pretty colors. Not spamming for them.
Then there is good old flexible metal conduit.
